Newcastle Police are only partially encrypted again. Now you can hear the radio operator, but radio transmissions from cars and portables are encrypted.

Seven choppers all in a row heading West from Newcastle toward the Lower Hunter / Hunter Valley areas, probably to assist in aerial fire fighting. Choppers were all of the same class.

A Black Hawk Helicopter is currently in the air over Newcastle.

Newcastle Police are currently able to be monitored. Their transmissions are not encrypted from the Police vehicles and portable radios. The radio operator unfortunately is still encrypted. It usually doesn't last long though.

Air Services frequency for Flightwatch in the Newcastle / Hunter Valley areas seems to have gone off the air. There have been no transmissions on this frequency for over 1 month now.
